This bypasses the intermediate semi-finished sheet stage, reducing material costs by up to 30% and optimizing fiber length retention for impact strength.
Specifically designed for structural components in high-end automotive and aerospace applications, HP-RTM injects pre-heated reactive thermoset epoxy or polyurethane resins into a closed, high-rigidity steel mold containing a dry carbon fiber preform. Using pressures of up to 100-150 bar, the resin impregnates the preform within seconds before curing rapidly. Our HP-RTM presses are equipped with precision active leveling control to maintain parallelism within +/- 0.05mm, preventing structural micro-voids.
